When Blink Productions, the award winning, leading British Commercial and Music Video Production Company required a proven contractor to project manage, construct and fit out their new 4500 ft2 production facility they chose PCL for their track record for carrying out fast track bespoke projects on time, to the highest of quality and detail and to budget. The iconic Tramworks building was in serious disrepair on occupation, PCL in liaison with the Planners, Building Control and fire strategist, excavated and tanked the basement, replaced the main roof and rooflights provided a new 18m glazed rooflight, shot blasted and upgraded the buildings steel frame providing 1hr fire protection, upgraded the buildings power supply and raised the ground floor slab to accommodate the new basement recording studio and installed a new mezzanine floor.
On completion of the enabling works PCL installed new AC and Vent systems throughout, Lighting, Power and Data, Walls, Ceilings, Flooring, Specialist Joinery and Acoustic Insulation and decoration.
Thus providing a state of the art music recording studio, meeting rooms and office space to the basement. Shooting studios, reception, wc and shower facilities to the ground floor, kitchen facilities and art space to the 1st floor, office space to the 2nd floor and executive meeting rooms to the new mezzanine floor above
